Assize Index publishes kitchen and pantry spec tables — sourced, dated numbers and public ranking rules. How ranks and colors work is described on Methods.

The site is an independent editorial index. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by USDA, FoodData Central, labs, journals, or ingredient brands whose names or figures appear in citations. Those names and marks remain theirs.

Content is for general information about cooking ingredients. It is not diagnosis, treatment, dietetic care, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Rank 1 on any table or recipe is the champion on that open published rule, not a medical crown.

We aim for citable cells and clear method limits. Sources can disagree; we show a primary reading by published tier and keep others on hover or the item page. Numbers may change when better cites land. We do not invent empty cells. Where our summary and a primary source disagree, the source's own publication controls. You are responsible for how you use the data in your kitchen.

Use the site lawfully. Do not disrupt the service; do not run scrapers, bots, or excessive requests that burden availability; and do not misrepresent our ranks as clinical guidance or as endorsements of a brand we did not cite.

Site design, copy, and presentation are owned by Sunday Robbo or its licensors. Underlying public lab and agency figures remain attributed to their sources. You may link to our pages; wholesale republication of tables without permission is not allowed.

The site is provided as is, without warranties of completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Sunday Robbo is not liable for decisions you make from the tables, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Where a liability limit is allowed, total liability to you will not exceed what you have paid Sunday Robbo for access to this site. If you have not paid, that limit is zero.

To the extent permitted by law, disputes arising from your use of the site must be brought individually. You waive any right to bring or join a class, consolidated, or representative action against Sunday Robbo about these terms or the site. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would point elsewhere.

You agree to indemnify and hold Sunday Robbo harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

If a provision of these terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or severed only as needed so the rest of the terms remain in effect.

We do not currently publish an email address, phone number, or customer-support channel for Assize Index. There is no helpdesk. These pages are the posted terms. If we later publish a contact method, we will name it here.
