Privacy policy

Assize Index is a kitchen data index operated by Sunday Robbo. We do not ask you to register. This page describes the little we may process when you browse — and what we do not do.

We publish sourced cooking-oil and pantry tables. Ranking rules live on Methods. We are not a doctor, clinic, or personalized health service.

No accounts. We do not store a server-side profile of oils or sweeteners you prefer, or recipes you open.

Browser storage. Unit system (metric / imperial) may be saved in your browser (for example localStorage) so the next visit keeps your choice. That stays on your device unless you clear site data. We do not keep a server copy of those choices.

Table filter and sort state may appear in the page URL so a view can be bookmarked or shared. Those parameters describe public table settings (for example origin, refinement, kind, axis, sort), not a private health record.

Like most sites, our host or CDN may keep short-lived technical logs (for example IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps) for security, uptime, and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to sell advertising profiles.

Citations and method notes may link out to USDA FoodData Central, lab papers, agency pages, and other sources listed on Sources. Those sites have their own privacy policies and cookie practices. We do not control them. This policy does not describe what happens after you leave Assize Index.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people use. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. It records things like the page path, referring site, country, browser, and device type, grouped so we see totals rather than individual people.

We do not use advertising cookies or ad trackers, and we do not require cookies for a paywall. If we add or change an analytics tool, we will name it here before or when it ships.

We do not sell your personal information. Table numbers are public product data, not your private health record. We do not process payments on this site, and we do not request your device location.

The site is a general kitchen reference. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

We may update this policy as the product grows. The effective date above changes when we do; the posted version is the one in effect. Related: Terms of use.

We do not currently publish an email address, phone number, or customer-support channel for Assize Index. There is no helpdesk. These pages are the posted privacy policy. If we later publish a contact method, we will name it here.
